Most college football players can only dream of so much as being discussed for the Heisman Trophy, but Jonathan Taylor finished in the Top 10 of voting in all three years that he played. Taylor set multiple records at the University of Wisconsin, including most rushing yards by a freshman, most yards through sophomore season, and most yards through junior season. He also set the NCAA record for most career 200-yard rushing games at 12. He also reached 1,000 yards in fewer games (7) than any other freshman in FBS history. Taylor was a two-time Doak Walker Award winner and twice named a unanimous first-team All-American. Taylor was drafted forty-first overall in the 2020 NFL draft. In his first season in the NFL, he rushed for 1,169 yards and added 299 receiving, scoring 12 touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team.
