That was when Hitchings Ice Cream Co was purchased by James M. McColgan and his brother-in-law William Bogner. When McColgan later acquired full ownership of the company for himself, he changed the name to M & B Ice Cream.

Signs like this one were usually displayed in restaurants and ice cream shops. This sign is made of cardstock. Typically, these were discarded and thrown away over the years. This piece is in excellent condition and is considered new from old stock. This piece was found new in its original box in an old ice cream shop. This blast from the past measures 20" by 13", features the large mouth bass design, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This piece dates to approximately the 1950s.
