M & B Ice Cream Large Mouth Bass 3-D NOS Cardstock Sign
Why Add This M & B Ice Cream Large Mouth Bass 3-D Sign to Your Collection?
Like many other types of food and drinks, the way that ice cream ends up in front of us has changed tremendously over the past hundred years or so. Today it's nothing to walk into the nearest grocery store and choose from an incredible number of flavors. This was not the case during the early 1900s. At that time, ice cream usually came from a local company or two and went from the factory straight to restaurants. It was quite common for the ice cream to travel by horse drawn wagon at this point.
- The vintage advertising sign offered on this page is from M & B Ice Cream. This company was well-known as a part of downtown Saginaw. The history of M & B Ice Cream can be traced back to 1910. That was when Hitchings Ice Cream Co was purchased by James M. McColgan and his brother-in-law William Bogner. When McColgan later acquired full ownership of the company for himself, he changed the name to M & B Ice Cream.
