Jacob Ruppert Beer Serving Tray
Why add this Jacob Ruppert Beer Serving Tray to your collection?
Step back in time to two of the most important decades in American history with this serving tray that advertised Jacob Ruppert Beer. Breweries gave this type of tray to businesses to advertise their beers, and they were often used heavily. Accordingly, many were damaged and thrown away, especially after the introduction of prohibition in 1920. Made from tin lithograph, this tray was made in New York City by Advertising Arts Inc. Weighing about a pound and measuring 16" x 13", the tray remains in excellent condition. The tray includes its original display stand and shows two hands toasting.
This tray would have been used in the very early days of the 1920's before prohibition was introduced and/or starting in 1933, when prohibition ended. The 20's and 30's were important years in American history. The former saw one of the greatest economic booms in history, while the latter included most of the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, and the stage being set for America's eventual entry into the Second World War. This tray, which provides a unique connection to the period, comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Don't miss your chance to own this Jacob Ruppert Beer Serving Tray.
