This sign was made in 1965 by Stout Sign Co., St. Louis, MO. The "vacuform" plastic sign was designed to be lit from behind. This piece would have been seen anywhere Grilled Cheese sandwiches were sold: the local diner, a bowling center or your local Drive thru restaurant. The sign shows the colorful Sixties Dr. Pepper branded cup filled with icy Dr. Pepper. Next to your favorite beverage is a luscious grilled cheese sandwich, oozing with yellow goodness and garnished with olives. The sign is 18 inches tall. When properly lit, this sign will take send you to the kitchen for a Dr. Pepper and a grilled cheese.

Spectacular Condition Sign

Dr. Pepper supplied these vacuform plastic transparent signs to everyone who sold their product in the mid sixties. The signs were heavily used and as a result are not often found in stellar condition like this one. This sign includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
