The decade saw the start of the modern welfare state and a massive change in the way that Americans viewed their federal government with President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal. The decade also saw the start of the Second World War in Europe, which would eventually establish the United States as one of the two preeminent world powers even though the country did not formally enter the war until 1941.
This vintage piece would make a great addition to any time period or automobile themed collection. This type of can is not often found in this condition, as the cans were typically used heavily and often discarded. This one remains in Good - Very Good condition.
